COG Fellowship Events

One of our biggest desires is to help facilitate face-to-face connection between brethren from across the Church of God! The COG Fellowship Events program awards micro-grants to individuals and Church congregations to help sponsor fellowship events that are open to brethren from all Church of God organizations. The events can be anything from BBQs, men’s/women’s groups, picnics, or even joint Church services/potlucks. Feel free to get creative! The funds could be used for things like (but not limited to) hall rentals, equipment rentals, food, or to subsidize admission prices for outings.

After completion of the application form below, applicants will be contacted by someone from the Church of God Network team to discuss their application further. Once a grantee is chosen, the funds are dispersed on a reimbursement basis as expenses are incurred (up to a pre-determined maximum amount) upon receiving receipts for event expenditures.

Grant applications are submitted and awarded on an ongoing, rolling basis, meaning that you can apply at any time during the year and awards are made several times during the year, depending upon available funds. CGN has limited resources and therefore may not be able to fund all requests.

Even if you do not ultimately receive a grant from this program, please consider holding your event anyway! We would be more than happy to promote the event on social media to help get attendees, or afterward to show its success. We can also discuss other forms of assistance/advice CGN might be able to provide. It is vital that we get to know our brothers and sisters in Christ regardless of which Church of God organization they attend with. Getting together face to face, and forming relationships in person, is perhaps the most effective way to build community. It is also an important first step in building trust and working toward more cooperation.
