Educational & Business Development Grants

Our purpose is to help brethren in developing countries start successful, profitable and sustainable businesses, or obtain training or education for jobs that will provide a reliable source of income. This is done through micro grants that will help pay for the training or education, or the start-up costs associated with a new business (inventory, equipment, fees, etc.). Individuals may apply as many times as they’d like, but once they receive a grant they are no longer eligible to receive another.

The grant money does not have to be repaid. However, to engender responsibility, accountability and gratitude, we simply ask that the receiver report back to us within 6 months of receiving the money to update us on how the business venture or educational process is going. Also, if the business or job is successful, we ask that if possible, a voluntary donation of any amount be given back to the fund to contribute to others who might need a helping hand.

If you would like to donate to the grant program, please click the “Donate” icon above and specify that you would like your donation to go to the “CGN Educational and Business Development Grant Program.”

Grant applications will be evaluated on a quarterly basis. Applications for each quarter are due by the following dates:

  • Quarter 1 – March 31
  • Quarter 2 – June 30
  • Quarter 3 – September 30
  • Quarter 4 – December 31
